RadioRadioRadio: Ecology of Listening

On the second day of the RadioRadioRadio project trip here in Budapest, we recorded two podcast episodes with community radio members. The project aims to make community radio more accessible to the younger generation from a technical and content production perspective. As part of the project, English-language podcast episodes are produced monthly, and the content is shared between the partner radio stations.

In Budapest, the participants also took part in a sound walk exercise, during which they were invited to observe their surroundings, focusing on environmental sounds, rhythms, and acoustic details. In relation to the theme of the Ecology of Listening, the practice also emphasized how we listen to one another, how attention is shared, and how listening functions as a form of ecological and social awareness.
