Palanga Street Radio

PSR is an independent community radio based in Vilnius, Lithuania. Established in 2017 in a flat on Palanga Street, we embraced a DIY philosophy that continues to inspire us to this day and fuels the engagement of our community. As a voluntary team we strive to foster a safe and inclusive environment for the creation of free cultural expression locally and online.

The main focus of the radio is music and sound art, as well as interviews and talk shows exploring different cultural and visual topics. Over the years the name Palanga, a nostalgic seaside resort on the Baltic coast, has been literally embraced through our resort aesthetics and amateur artworks that have become the known visual identity of PSR.

Throughout the life of PSR, we have created over 100 public live-streamed events ranging music performances, roller discos, daytime raves and mini-FM gatherings, as well as collaborated with artist projects in Lithuania and abroad.

In 2023, Palanga Street Radio became part of Reset! Network; a European network gathering and supporting independent cultural, media and creative organisations.
