PROJECT: MORNING AIR

“Enjoy a fresh breeze of Morning Air; a new weekday show brought to you by five community radios. Each morning, one radio will take-over the broadcast to bring you new local contexts from their corner of Europe – Berlin, Budapest, Riga, Helsinki, Vilnius.”
Morning Air was a content-sharing initiative between five community radios, supporting the growth of live daytime broadcasts and the creation of a transnational listenership between stations. Kicking off on Monday 22nd May 2023, each station broadcast one morning a week for a month and was relayed on each station to stimulate a cross-cultural audio exchange between their local communities. Participating radios included Tīrkultūra, Lahmacun Radio, Palanga Street Radio, IDA Helsinki and Cashmere Radio. This project was supported by Nordisk Kulturfond, with design by Studio Cryo.
